Scott & Bex have over 30 years combined experience in the food and customer service industries.
Bex started The Brinscall Baker in 2017 following a successful career with a worldwide catering company with a focus on delicious home-made treats with the focal point in quality and taste. She’s spent the years between then and now perfecting her brownie, blondie, loaf cake & tray bake recipes.
While the role of baker is now split between our awesome team, the core values still remain the same - whoever makes them!
And yes, we make everything ourselves right at site.
Scott spent over 12 years working in the coffee industry. Starting as a regional trainer for one company, he moved to a dedicated barista training role at a coffee roasting company. Following buy-outs and acquisitions he soon found himself managing a team of barista trainings looking after customers coffee & hot drink needs up and down the country.
As part of his coffee journey Scott completed his SCA coffee diploma courses enabling him to understand and train forward the right way to make coffee
He even dipped his toes into the coffee competition scenes – topping out at 2nd place in the 2018 SCA UK coffee in good spirits championships – you won’t find a nicer espresso martini this end of the country!
Blooms & beatiful decor
Sophie began floristry around 7 years ago when at a crossroads in her previous 10-year career as a makeup artist. With a love of all things creative, floristry was an exciting new adventure. Working from home and with a little shed shop in front of her house, selling fresh flowers and plants.
This was the perfect solution to get started before moving into 412 and expanding the business greatly in 2022. She now sells an interesting range of gifts as well as flowers and houseplants and provides flowers for every occasion, from birthday bunches to weddings and funerals. Her style is nontraditional with an interesting use of colour and texture. Sophie offers beautiful creations with a focus on quality, using only the freshest blooms.
